The Body Mass Index (BMI ; IMC in french) is a tool invented by physicians to evaluate stoutness.

This index is very important to evaluate some health risks.

IMC Calc, can calculate:

- the  BMI (male or female) of an adult or a child (since one year old).

- the ideal BMI.

- the ideal weight following different formulas.

For adult, Devine formula, 1924 Lorentz formula, Lorentz formula modified depending of the age of the person and Peck’s formula.

For child weight is calculated depending of the ideal BMI and the Peck’s formula.
